Happy New Year!

January has got off to an energetic start with the launch of our new video trailer.

You may have seen he trailer on the Home page of the Pro-Am Strings website, or you can watch it here. It shows the many things that we do at Pro-Am Strings.

We also launched our new Violin for Beginners course this week. 

violin lessons for beginnersThis course is suitable for new starters on the violin and viola and for those players keen to refresh their basic technique. The course consists of 16 video tutorials complete with 14 play-along tracks.

Pro-Am Strings Webinars: free violin, viola, cello lessons

 

Our Webinars will resume again next week. The webinars are always popular, as these are FREE online violin, viola or cello lessons. Come and join us if you have never tried this before. After you have registered, we will email you a link with which you have access to the class.

Suitable for Beginners and New Starters on violin and viola

This webinar is suitable for new starters on the violin. We will discuss the bow hold and bowing basics, as well as how you start to play with your left hand fingers. This webinar will also be suitable for players who have been going for a while and want to refine their technique, and for those who want to pick up their instrument again after having had a break from playing. Welcome!

Vibrato – Tuesday 24th January at 11am GMT + Wednesday 25th January at 8pm GMT
Suitable for Intermediate and advanced players of the violin and viola.

Henriette will show you how she teaches arm vibrato. There will be exercises to learn a vibrato from scratch, as well as exercises to develop your vibrato further. There will be a question and answer session at the end as always.
